@niksinthe916 …
@niksinthe916 Thanks for the advice! All i needed was a little practicing and taking the club back better and tempo. I’m so happy because I made the 2010 U.S. World Amateur Team. Peter Langley!!! One of the 3 chosen, how prestigous.
Whenever i hit my …
Whenever i hit my driver, it gets no lift. i dont know if its the tee height or my swing. plz help.
hey mister redbull …
hey mister redbull try a stiffer shafted driver -i did exactly the same when i bought a club with too whippy a shaft- the club head cant catch up with your swing and you are lifting before the club hits the ball -worked for me -good luck
@imwrittingmyname …
@imwrittingmyname Is it a slice or an undesirable fade? I have a natural fade in my swing. If your shooting a scratch score it’s most likely an open club face issue with an undesirable fade. This fades the ball not so much SLICE. A slice will move right almost immediately after Impact. I would not recommend standing closer to the ball. Try working on the range. If the tournament comes before you can work things out then avoid hitting the driver instead and go with the 3 wood.
@RingerDaMan : OMG …
I’m hitting it 290yrds dead straight. I shot a 69 at Woodside Meadows Golf Course in Michigan. First time ever 3 under par for 18 thx times a million
@RingerDaMan : OMG thank you! I fixed my swing.
@imwrittingmyname …
@imwrittingmyname Standing further away is better than closer. Standing closer will tend to put your weight on your heels which will set you up for a cut/slice.
Hey, I’m a scratch …
Hey, I’m a scratch golfer, a senior in high school and lately I’ve notice my ball start slicing. I was told to stand closer but this doesn’t help. My driver hasn’t ever been fit, no place for miles and its too long, about 48.5″. My arms hanging to floor is 37″. Should I either stick with my swing but grip down lower on the grip, stand back further, or something else. Please, i need help. I have a huge tournament soon!!!
@redbull23952395 …
@redbull23952395 Just remember that the clubface makes the ball go up in the air. Even with the driver you do NOT need to hit up on the ball. Just brush the tee out of the ground, forget the ball.
Hi I’m 15 and …
Hi I’m 15 and working on golf because i would like to try out for golf my junior year. I go to the driving range as often as I can but I can’t to seem hit driver. I hit a 3 wood 200-250 yards, but when I hit the driver i always top it and hit a low grounder. I use the same method for ball height on the tee. Any tips?
@secretogolf when …
@secretogolf when you top it that means you are picking your head up, which results in lifting your entire body up and topping it!
@ThePuzzler96 …
@ThePuzzler96 puzzler, first i would say to get a lesson with someone so that they can see and fix ur swing. my advice about your drive is to make sure your club face isnt open and that feet knees hips and shoulders are aligned parallel to where you are aiming the club face so that u are swinging throught the ball and not across it; therefore putting spin on the ball and slicing it left

that ball position …
that ball position tip really helps, i am right handed and slice right, because I impact too early in the swing.
Is the driver swing …
Is the driver swing any more flat than an iron swing.I hit my irons really well.My driver is another story ,I’m either bombing it 280 or I could top the ball or drop kick it.
thanks
i had the tendency …
i had the tendency to hit my driver all over the map. I actually came up with a way to stop both from occuring by doing a few simple things. I would first take swings with my driver where i would bring the club barely past my waist and only try to hit the ball maybe 60-80 yards. Once i started hitting those straight i would bring it back to my shoulders and so on until i created consistency. When i got to my full swing, I made sure my entire swing was very slow. This gave me that consistency
Great video. Thanks …
Great video. Thanks.
I have also just recently started hovering the driver, not so much to avoid pebbles or tees, though that is very true – I feel that it it lends itself to a better setup and take-away position, and also to a better tempo to the swing.

For me, probably the best explanation of how to approach driving the ball I have seen on Utube. Follow this and you can’t go far wrong.
@ThePuzzler96 Yes, …
@ThePuzzler96 Yes, your path is going way out to the right. The ball will always curve away from your path during impact.

I’m left handed and every time I drive, my ball curves way to the left. I’ve been following all the instructions right but I still cant get a straight shot. Anyone have any Idea whats wrong?
